Here's Lotta!

When I first saw Compgnie M's Lotta skirt, it was love at first sight! (Really, check the first comment on this blogpost, that's me!). I could really imagine my little girl running around in such a cute skirt. Or even better, I totally wanted a skirt like that fo myself!

And hooray, the Lotta skirt is the first Compagnie M. Pattern that is available for little girls, teens and women. When Marte asked for testers for her pattern, I was in need for some selfish sewing, so I was really happy with the opportunity to test the Lotta for Ladies.

I picked a nice vintage cotton and started sewing. The sewing went really smoothly thanks to the super-clear instructions!

This is the first gathered skirt I've made for myself. And I must say, I really like the result. The skirt has a nice shape without being too wide. And I really love the pockets! 

We've had some beautiful autumn days over here, so we went to the park to take some pictures.
